Job summary

ams OSRAM is seeking a Technical Authority to define broadband optical communication IC architectures and technology roadmaps. You will lead system and IC architecture development and translate requirements into subsystem specs, guiding teams through architecture trade-offs and validation.

The role requires MSc/PhD in electrical engineering and 15+ years in semiconductor IC development, with demonstrated tape-outs in advanced CMOS nodes and expertise in high-speed optical links and PHY

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years semiconductor IC development experience.
• Multiple successful broadband optical communication IC tape-outs in advanced CMOS nodes.
• Broadband optical communication IC and PHY architectures, including high-speed optical links and analog/digital interfaces.
• Advanced CMOS node experience, including FinFET and/or FD-SOI, is required.
