Job summary

Hitachi Vantara in Rome, Italy seeks an experienced Windchill PLM lead with 14–16 years in IT/Engineering and 8+ years in Windchill implementations. You will drive end-to-end Windchill initiatives, defining configurations, integrations, and data migration with a strong focus on stakeholder alignment.

The role requires mentoring junior consultants and coordinating with ERP, CAD, ALM, and MES teams in a global delivery environment. High-impact projects across manufacturing sectors await.

Qualifications

• 14–16 years of IT/Engineering Systems experience with Windchill PLM implementations.
• 8+ years hands-on Windchill PLM implementation and support.
• Lead workshops with Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Analyze as-is processes and design to-be PLM processes aligned with best practices.
• Act as Functional SME for Windchill: PDMLink, Change, Document, BOM, Workflow, Lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Windchill projects including implementation, upgrade, rollout and enhancements.
• Define configurations, customizations, integrations, and system requirements with tech teams.
• Support data migration: assessment, mapping, cleansing, validation, sign-off.
• Define SIT, UAT, training, deployment, and go-live readiness activities.
• Collaborate with ERP, CAD, ALM, MES and other enterprise system teams.
