Job summary

Hitachi Automotive Systems Americas, Inc. seeks a senior Windchill-focused PLM consultant to lead end-to-end Windchill projects. The role requires 14–16 years in PLM with Windchill, and 8+ years in hands-on implementations and support.

Qualifications

• 14–16 years in PLM with Windchill expertise.
• 8+ years hands-on Windchill PLM implementations and support.
• Strong communication and client-facing consulting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead business requirement gathering workshops with Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain stakeholders.
• Analyze current-state processes and design future-state PLM business processes aligned with industry best practices.
• Act as Functional SME for Windchill modules including PDMLink, Change Management, Document Management, BOM Management, Workflow, and Lifecycle Management.
• Prepare functional specifications, process flows, use cases, BRD, and solution design documents.
• Drive end-to-end Windchill implementation, upgrade, rollout, and enhancement projects.
• Collaborate with ERP, CAD, ALM, MES, and other enterprise system teams for integration requirements.
• Provide leadership in issue resolution, risk management, stakeholder communication, and project governance.
• Mentor junior consultants and provide functional guidance to project teams.
