Hercle is a fast-growing fintech building institutional-grade infrastructure that bridges fiat, stablecoins and digital assets for cross-border payments.

We’re seeking a Senior Back-End Developer to join the Payments squad to own money movements end to end—from deposits to ledger entries—across banks, custodians and crypto providers. You’ll design scalable, event-driven services and drive reliability with CI/CD and strong monitoring.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years building back-end systems in strongly typed languages.
• Strong OOP, distributed systems, concurrency and performance optimization.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, CI/CD, Git and testing frameworks.
• English fluency; Italian is a plus.

Mansioni

• Design and build a scalable, event-driven payments engine for deposits, withdrawals, transfers and rebalancing.
• Implement state machines, idempotency, retries and compensation for safety and traceability.
• Integrate orchestration with account data, provider adapters and the core ledger.
• Build and operate the job fleet that automates rebalancing and recurring flows with monitoring.
• Work with product, Operations and banking infrastructure to improve journey success and speed.
• Write clean, documented code, review peers' work, fix bottlenecks and bugs, and improve CI/CD.
