Sysdig is seeking a Software Engineer to help advance Falco and OSS initiatives that power cloud threat detection. You will contribute to core technologies, open source projects, and tools used by a broad community, while engaging with users and driving automation.

You’ll own releases, fix bugs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate secure innovation in the cloud. Proficiency in C/C++, Golang, and Rust, plus Linux, eBPF, containers, and Kubernetes, are highly valued.

Competenze

• 5 years as a Software Engineer in cloud native or security domains.
• Proficient in C/C++, Golang, and Rust.
• Open source contributions.
• Experience with Linux, eBPF, containers, and Kubernetes.

Mansioni

• Develop new technology for Falco, OSS Sysdig, and related libraries.
• Contribute to and possibly maintain open source projects.
• Assist users, fix reported bugs, and streamline releases.
• Own releases and advance automation across the workflow.
• Engage with the community via Slack and GitHub; present at conferences; write technical content.
