Sysdig is seeking a Senior Open Source Engineer to advance Falco and OSS initiatives. You will develop core technologies, contribute to open source projects, and engage with a broad community. The role involves fixing issues, releasing software, and driving automation while sharing knowledge through talks and blogs.

You will work at the intersection of security, open source, and cloud-native technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to accelerate secure innovation in the cloud.

Competenze

• 5 years as Software Engineer in cloud native or security domains.
• Open source contributions.
• Experience with Linux, eBPF, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear communication and collaboration.

Mansioni

• Develop new technology for Falco, OSS Sysdig, and related libraries.
• Contribute to and possibly maintain open source projects.
• Assist users, fix reported bugs, and streamline releases.
• Own releases and advance automation across the workflow.
• Engage with the community via Slack and GitHub; present at conferences; write technical content.
