Sysdig is seeking a Software Engineer to advance Falco and OSS initiatives powering cloud threat detection. You will contribute to core technologies, maintain releases, and drive automation while sharing knowledge through talks and blogs.

In this role you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, work with Linux, eBPF, containers, and Kubernetes, and contribute to open source projects in cloud-native security.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years as a Software Engineer in cloud-native or security domains.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Golang, and Rust.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Open source contributions and collaboration experience.

Mansioni

• Develop new technology for Falco, OSS Sysdig, and related libraries.
• Contribute to and possibly maintain open source projects.
• Assist users, fix reported bugs, and streamline releases.
• Own releases and advance automation across the workflow.
• Engage with the community via Slack and GitHub; present at conferences; write technical content.
