Alpitronic Americas LLC is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design innovative mechanical solutions for Hypercharger products and ensure performance, quality, manufacturability, and cost targets are met.

You will design components and assemblies, create 3D CAD models and drawings, perform calculations, and support simulations and prototyping. Collaboration across electronics, software, and manufacturing is essential, with mentoring for junior staff.

Competenze

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of experience in mechanical product development.
• Strong understanding of design principles, strength calculations, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with CAD software; SolidWorks is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Structured, proactive, and collaborative; high-quality standards.
• Fluent in English; German or Italian is a plus.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will contribute to the development of our Hypercharger products by designing innovative and reliable mechanical solutions that meet performance, quality, manufacturability, and cost requirements.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for Hypercharger products
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and related documentation
• Perform mechanical calculations and support simulation activities to validate design solutions
• Select appropriate materials based on functional, environmental, and cost requirements
• Support concept development, prototyping, testing, and product validation activities
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including electronics, software, industrialization, and manufacturing
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and technical problem-solving activities
• Support products throughout the entire development lifecycle, from concept to series production
• Contribute to continuous product improvement and engineering best practices
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers when required

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical qualification
• Several years of experience in mechanical product development, ideally within electromechanical products
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, strength calculations, material selection, and manufacturing processes
• Experience with CAD software; knowledge of SolidWorks is considered an advantage
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Structured, proactive, results-oriented way of working and commitment to engineering excellence and high-quality standards
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills as well as ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams
• Fluent in English; German and/or Italian are a plus

• Total compensation: € 84.000- € 127.000 including 30% variable bonus based on goal achievement
