Job summary

Roboze is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team in Bari, Italy. You will design, develop and optimize advanced industrial 3D printing systems, translating requirements into reliable, manufacturable solutions and supporting product validation throughout the lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mechanical design of complex machinery, strong CAD skills (Creo/SolidWorks), and experience with FEA/thermal analyses, prototyping and DFMA principles.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong background in mechanical design of complex industrial machinery.
• Hands-on engineering approach from concept to industrialization.
• Experience with 3D CAD, FEM/FEA and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies and complex industrial machinery.
• Lead mechanical design from concept to prototyping and industrialization.
• Create 3D CAD models, drawings and BOMs.
• Perform mechanical calculations and structural assessments.
• Support FEA/thermAl analyses and validate solutions.
• Collaborate with electronics, automation, software and testing teams.
• Ensure DFMA principles and interface with production and suppliers.
• Prepare technical specifications and design validation reports.
