Job summary

Roboze is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Bari, Italy, to design, develop and optimize advanced industrial 3D printing systems. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to translate requirements into reliable, manufacturable solutions across the product lifecycle.

The role emphasizes hands-on design, prototyping, validation and industrialization, with close collaboration to ensure performance, reliability and cost targets are met in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design of complex industrial machinery.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably Creo or SolidWorks.
• Experience in designing mechanical assemblies, structural components and moving mechanisms.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tolerances and DFMA principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies and complex industrial machinery.
• Manage mechanical design activities from concept to detailed engineering and industrialization.
• Develop 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs and assembly documentation.
• Collaborate with Electronics, Automation, Software and Testing teams to ensure integration.
• Perform mechanical calculations and structural assessments to support decisions.
• Conduct or support FEM/FEA and thermal analyses for validation.
• Prepare technical specifications and design validation reports.
• Contribute to continuous product improvement and new architectures.
