Results give us the strength to grow as a company and as a group!

Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development and optimization of our advanced industrial 3D printing systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical engineering and proven experience in designing complex industrial machinery, mechanical assemblies and electromechanical systems. The role requires a hands‑on engineering approach, combining mechanical design, structural analysis, prototyping and product validation, with the ability to translate technical requirements into reliable, manufacturable and cost‑effective solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept to industrialization and continuous product improvement.

What your tasks will be
  • Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies and complex industrial machinery.
  • Manage mechanical design activities from concept development to detailed engineering, prototyping and industrialization.
  • Develop 3D CAD models, technical drawings, assembly documentation and Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Design and optimize mechanical structures, moving assemblies, mechanisms and electromechanical systems.
  • Perform mechanical calculations, component sizing and structural assessments to support engineering decisions.
  • Carry out or support Finite Element Analysis (FEA/FEM) and thermal assessments to validate mechanical solutions.
  • Collaborate with Electronics, Automation, Software and Testing teams to ensure effective integration of mechanical and electromechanical systems.
  • Support prototype assembly, functional testing, troubleshooting and mechanical validation activities.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical design issues, proposing improvements in terms of performance, reliability, manufacturability and cost.
  • Apply Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFM/DFA) principles throughout the development process.
  • Interface with Production, Quality and external suppliers to support manufacturing and product industrialization.
  • Prepare and maintain technical specifications, engineering documentation and design validation reports.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing products and the development of new machine architectures.
What we are looking for
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and development of complex industrial machinery or automated equipment.
  • Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably Creo, SolidWorks or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in designing mechanical assemblies, structural components and moving mechanisms.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, component sizing, materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in mechanical calculations and structural analysis, including FEM/FEA methodologies.
  • Knowledge of mechanical transmissions, actuators, precision mechanisms and electromechanical integration.
  • Ability to develop manufacturing drawings, technical specifications, tolerances and BOMs.
  • Experience in prototyping, assembly, testing and validation of mechanical systems.
  • Understanding of DFM/DFA principles and industrialization processes.
  • Ability to independently manage mechanical design activities, technical priorities and engineering challenges.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, analytical thinking and a proactive, hands‑on approach.
Nice to have
  • Experience in additive manufacturing or industrial 3D printing technologies.
  • Knowledge of high‑temperature mechanical systems, thermal management and material behavior under demanding operating conditions.
  • Experience with precision motion systems, linear guides, actuators and complex kinematic mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of thermal simulations and CFD analysis.
  • Familiarity with PDM/PLM systems and engineering change management.
  • Experience in the development of industrial machinery integrating mechanical, electrical and automation subsystems.
  • Previous experience in R&D environments involving new product development and functional prototyping.
What we offer
  • The opportunity to contribute to the development of advanced industrial additive manufacturing technologies.
  • A dynamic environment focused on innovation, engineering excellence and continuous product improvement.
  • Direct involvement in the design, prototyping, testing and industrialization of complex industrial machines.
  • Close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams and opportunities for technical development.
  • Gross annual salary between €35,000 and €45,000, depending on experience, technical expertise and overall fit with the role.
Who we are looking for:
  • People who make their mark. Brilliant, headstrong and futuristic minds.
  • Enthusiastic, courageous and ambitious people who love teamwork.
  • People who think big and act fast without fear of making mistakes. A momentarily wrong decision is always better than a decision not made at all.
  • People ready to face challenges with energy and determination, demonstrating and spreading an entrepreneurial and digital spirit.
Our purpose and culture of growth:

We are committed to cultivating a work environment in which we celebrate and respect differences and support everyone to be who they are.
