Qualifications

• Laurea in Ingegneria Meccanica o titolo equivalente.
• Esperienza in produzione, ingegneria di produzione, lavorazioni o supporto a processi tecnici in ambiente industriale.
• Conoscenza di CAD/CAM, lavorazioni CNC, automazione, robotica o strumenti di manufacturing digitale è un plus.
• Fluente in inglese e italiano.
• Capacità di lavorare con team cross-funzionali e gestire attività tecniche multiple.

• Sviluppare, ottimizzare e standardizzare i processi di produzione per migliorare qualità, produttività, costi e tempi di ciclo.
• Collaborare con ingegneria, produzione, qualità e team operativi per soluzioni robuste ed efficienti.

• Analizzare prestazioni dei processi, feedback di produzione e dati tecnici per opportunità di miglioramento.

As a Manufacturing Engineering Experienced professional at Baker Hughes, you will support the development, improvement, and execution of manufacturing processes for high-tech turbomachinery components. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve productivity, quality, safety, and operational performance, contributing to the introduction of new products, processes, and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development, optimization, and standardization of manufacturing processes to improve quality, productivity, cost, and cycle times.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and operational teams to ensure robust, efficient, and repeatable manufacturing solutions.
• Contribute to the introduction of new products, processes, equipment, and technologies within the manufacturing environment (Production Cycles, CAD/CAM).
• Analyze process performance, production feedback, and technical data to identify improvement opportunities and support decision-making.
• Prepare, maintain, and update technical documentation, standards, work instructions, and process-related information, including inspection criteria and critical spare requirements for assigned fixtures.
• Act as the first technical point of contact for operators in assigned areas, supporting setups, changeovers, production restarts, and troubleshooting to reduce downtime and ensure product quality.
• Identify program, fixture, tool, machine, or method-related causes of production issues and coordinate technical escalation when needed.
• Own the technical condition, configuration, and suitability of assigned fixtures, monitoring wear, accuracy, reliability, and safety and defining restoration or improvement actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practices across manufacturing activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company requirements.

To be successful in this role ideally you should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent proven experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, production engineering, machining, or technical process support within an industrial environment.
• Good technical understanding of manufacturing processes, process optimization, and industrial operations.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM systems, CNC machining, automation, robotics, or digital manufacturing tools is considered a plus.
• Problem-solving mindset, analytical approach, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage priorities, work independently, and support multiple technical activities.
• Fluent in English and Italian.

For Italy:

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 38,605 To 59,000.

The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI - Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay.
