Greystar seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure building systems, grounds, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and manage the make-ready process for vacant units.

Responsibilities include inventory control, vendor coordination, and accurate documentation. A high school diploma, 3 years of maintenance experience, HVAC certification, and strong customer service are preferred. Local travel may be required.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED; related experience or training.
• HVAC certification may be required; valid driver’s license often needed.
• Strong customer-service and interpersonal communication skills essential.
• Ability to read, write, and follow policies, safety rules, and documentation.

Mansioni

• Address resident service requests and perform preventive maintenance.
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant apartments and coordinate with vendors.
• Track inventory and request reorders; maintain tools and equipment.
• Document service requests accurately for records and reporting.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Assist in cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
• Adhere to safety policies and OSHA-related requirements; attend trainings.
• Inspect contractor work to verify quality and compliance with standards.
• Participate in property inspections to identify safety concerns and needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
