Burkentine Real Estate Group seeks a Maintenance Manager to oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair across our properties. You will manage maintenance issues, coordinate an on-call rotation, and ensure reliable operation of critical systems.

A strong focus on safety, quality, and timely response is essential for keeping our properties in top condition. The ideal candidate has a background in building maintenance or trades, HVAC certification, and excellent communication skills.

Competenze

• Minimum high school diploma preferred.
• Experience in building maintenance or trades education.
• Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair (beginner to intermediate).
• HVAC certification.
• On-call availability for emergencies.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs frequently and 10–20 lbs continually.
• Reliable transportation to work and on-call emergencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Service mindset and willingness to learn.

Description

Burkentine is growing and as a result we are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing maintenance issues in the area of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.

Requirements

Prefer a minimum of high school degree

Experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades.

Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.

HVAC certification

Availability for emergency situations at the property including an on-call rotation.

The ability to exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.

Personal, reliable transportation to get to work and to response to on-call emergencies.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

A service mentality and a thirst for learning.
