Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a highly experienced Customer Onboarding Lead Project Manager to drive large-scale logistics transformation programs across Europe. You will lead complex onboarding, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery on time, within scope and budget.

The role requires up to 80% travel across Europe, fluent English, and a PMP/PRINCE2 certification. You will collaborate with Operations, IT, Automation, and Customer stakeholders to deliver strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or warehousing environments.
• PM certification (PMP/PRINCE2) required.
• Strong knowledge of governance, risk management, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customer onboarding and implementation projects across Europe.
• Serve as primary point of contact and trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans with milestones and timelines.
• Drive project governance through status reporting, steering committees, and executive updates.
• Identify risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and manage escalations.
• Manage project scope, change requests, and ensure alignment with customer expectations.
• Lead cross-functional teams including Operations, IT, Engineering, and Automation.
• Coordinate system migrations, automation implementations, testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Monitor budgets and financial performance to ensure delivery within cost parameters.
• Lead go-live activities, handover, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
