Job summary

Haier Europe in Vimercate, Italy, seeks a proactive Senior Legal Counsel to join its regional team. You will oversee legal strategy, compliance, procurement, IoT and digital initiatives, reporting to the Regional General Counsel and collaborating with HQ legal teams.

You will partner with C-level executives on cross-border transactions, draft and negotiate complex international contracts, and provide clear guidance on commercial, consumer and regulatory matters while driving the digital

Qualifications

• Master's degree in law from an Italian law school.
• 10+ years of experience as in-house counsel or advising cross-border matters.
• Experience in multinational environments or top-tier law firms.
• Excellent communication in Italian and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Define legal strategy on high-risk, high-value matters and coordinate external counsel across EMEA.
• Lead regional compliance initiatives and support cross-border M&A and strategic transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex international commercial contracts.
• Provide authoritative legal advice on commercial, consumer, contractual, and regulatory matters.
• Support the digital transformation of the regional legal team and corporate workflows.
