Job summary

Isar Aerospace seeks a Senior Structures Analysis Engineer for launch vehicle structures. You will perform rigorous stress analysis, develop and review verification workflows, and guide junior engineers while shaping design standards and toolchains for CFRP structures.

You will define load cases, address thermal and vibrational effects, support test plans, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of structural verification processes within a fast-growing space company.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical or related field.
At least 8 years in analysing aerospace structures.
Proficient in classical hand-calculations and advanced FE modelling.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed stress analysis of aerospace structures and components using hand calculations and FEM.
Identify failure scenarios and optimize structural designs with design engineers.
Define load cases including thermal and quasi-static loads; address manufacturing deviations.
