Amaris Consulting is seeking a Senior Product Owner - IoT in the Milan area to lead the IoT-connected solutions portfolio. You will own the product vision, maintain backlog items, and serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, engineering, and hardware teams.

You will drive multi-team sprint ceremonies, balance trade-offs across devices, firmware, cloud, and mobile, and monitor post-release performance to enable continuous improvement. Italian fluency is required for local collaboration.

Competenze

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Product Management or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of experience as Product Owner or Product Manager, with IoT, connected devices or embedded systems experience.
• Experience with agile delivery frameworks and backlog management tools (e.g. Jira); bridge hardware behaviour, firmware, cloud and mobile.
• Fluent English (C1); Italian fluency for daily collaboration in Italy.
• Experience with MQTT, device management platforms, or edge computing.
• Exposure to mobile app product ownership (iOS/Android) alongside device ecosystems.

Mansioni

• Own and drive the product vision and roadmap for IoT-connected solutions, aligning with business goals and technical feasibility.
• Define, prioritize and maintain a healthy backlog, writing epics, user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.
• Act as the primary contact between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and connectivity/hardware experts to ensure shared understanding.
• Lead and facilitate sprint ceremonies to keep delivery on track in a multi-team environment.
• Make decisive product trade-offs balancing user needs, technical constraints and business priorities across the IoT ecosystem.
• Monitor product performance post-release, collect data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Identify and manage cross-functional dependencies, risks and blockers, escalating as needed.
• Contribute to connectivity standards, device behaviour specs, and integration requirements with backend and mobile platforms.
