Amaris Consulting in Italy (Milan area) is seeking a Senior Product Owner – IoT to own the product vision for IoT-connected solutions, align with business goals and ensure technical feasibility. You will define backlog, write epics and acceptance criteria, work with stakeholders, engineering, and connectivity experts, and lead sprint ceremonies to keep delivery on track.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in Product Owner/Manager roles in IoT, fluent English and Italian, and hands-on experience

Competenze

• Degree in CS, Engineering or PM.
• 7+ years as Product Owner/Manager in IoT.
• Experience in consumer electronics, smart home or IoT.
• Experience with connectivity platform migrations.
• Fluent English (C1) and Italian for daily collaboration.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with MQTT and edge computing.

Would you like to start a new professional adventure as a Senior Product Owner – IoT in one of our opportunities in the IoT & Connected Devices industry in Italy (Milan area)?

Your missions?

• Own and drive the product vision and roadmap for IoT-connected solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
• Define, prioritize and maintain a healthy product backlog, writing clear epics, user stories and acceptance criteria ready for development teams.
• Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and connectivity/hardware experts, ensuring shared understanding across all parties.
• Lead and facilitate sprint ceremonies (planning, review, retrospective), keeping delivery on track in a complex, multi-team environment.
• Make decisive product trade-offs by balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business priorities across the IoT ecosystem (devices, firmware, cloud, mobile).
• Monitor product performance post-release, collecting data and user feedback to drive continuous improvement iterations.
• Identify and manage cross-functional dependencies, risks and blockers, escalating when necessary and proactively following up to closure.
• Contribute to the definition of connectivity standards, device behaviour specifications, and integration requirements with backend and mobile platforms.

Your profile?

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Product Management or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, with a proven track record in IoT, connected devices or embedded systems environments.
• Background in consumer electronics, smart home or industrial IoT.
• Previous experience in connectivity platform migrations or large-scale IoT programme rollouts.
• Strong hands-on experience with agile delivery frameworks and backlog management tools (e.g. Jira); ability to write development-ready stories bridging hardware behaviour, firmware, cloud services and mobile applications.
• Fluent English at C1 level (spoken and written); Italian fluency required for daily collaboration in Italy.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, prioritization and communication skills; comfortable operating in large, multi-team programmes with high ambiguity and fast-changing requirements.
• Experience with MQTT, device management platforms, or edge computing.
• Exposure to mobile app product ownership (iOS/Android) alongside device ecosystems.

Compensation & Pay Transparency

• Gross Annual Salary (Range: EUR 30,000 – EUR 43,000).
• The salary range has been determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria.
