Job summary

Barilla Group in Parma is seeking a Senior Inventory Accounting Analyst to govern inventory valuation and oversee centralized processes across our manufacturing network. You will coordinate FIFO/LIFO, ensure data integrity between physical stock and the financial statements, and support monthly closings.

Reporting to the Inventory Evaluation and Inspection Manager, you will work in an international environment, interact with plants, warehouses, and external partners, and travel as needed to

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics or similar.
• At least 2 years of experience in Administration or Finance roles.
• Fluency in English.
• Advanced Excel skills are a plus.
• Ability to work in complex and international environments.
• Willingness to travel often for inventory inspections.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate FIFO inventory postings for all managed companies.
• Support year-end LIFO inventory valuation.
• Oversee accounting for subcontracting materials and sauces.
• Reconcile SAP R/3 data with inventory reports.
• Provide inventory and production cost information to external auditors.
• Participate in physical inventory controls across plants, warehouses, mills and external third‑party locations.
• Assist ISTAT/Unionfood statistical information submissions.
