Job summary

Wood is recruiting a Senior Inspector / Expediter based in Corsico (Milan) with hybrid work options (home up to two days per week). The role focuses on inspections and material release for rotating equipment skid-mounted packages, following the supplier's ITP and instructions from the home office Inspection & Expediting Coordinator.

Job description

Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Inspector / Expediter for rotating equipment skid mounted, machineries and packages (e.g. centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, steam and gas turbines, centrifugal pumps, centrifugal fans, gearboxes, bridge cranes and hoists, loading arms, HVAC systems, etc.). The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week.

The Role

In the execution of his day-by-day job the Inspector / Expediter shall carry out the project specific inspections and release the materials as detailed in the supplier’s Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and as directed and instructed by the home office Inspection & Expediting Coordinator. The Inspector / Expediter shall conduct: Witness, Hold, Monitor and Review activities as per the approved Supplier’s / Sub-supplier’s ITP.
