Swisslog, part of the KUKA Group, seeks a senior accounting professional in Milan to lead IFRS closes for Italian entities and coordinate statutory financial statements and audits. You will manage intercompany processes, liaise with auditors, and drive ERP and process improvements.

The role requires IFRS knowledge, strong english, and a track record in international accounting, with leadership experience and SAP familiarity. Competitive compensation and STI are included.

Competenze

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of relevant professional experience in accounting, ideally within an international business environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Experience in preparing statutory financial statements and working with external auditors.
• Good knowledge of taxation and finance-related processes.
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical skills and structured problem-solving approach.
• High initiative and accountability.
• Excellent communication skills and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Experience in leading or developing employees is advantageous.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.

Mansioni

• Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual financial close under IFRS for designated entities.
• Ensuring timely and high-quality group reporting.
• Overseeing end-to-end accounting processes with AR, AP and GL teams.
• Analyzing and resolving issues during close processes.
• Preparing and reviewing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Presenting balance sheet reviews to internal stakeholders.
• Coordinating statutory financial statements and audits.
• Maintain statutory ledgers under Local GAAP.
• Prepare and review tax calculations and filings with fiscal consultants.
• Ensure intercompany transactions comply with Transfer Pricing policies.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors and regulators.
• Drive process improvements, controls, and SOPs.
• Lead ERP transformation and standardisation projects.
• Provide leadership to a small Italian accounting team.
