Jobgether SRL in Italy is seeking a Senior Accountant – Technical Accounting to lead IFRS research, contract assessments, and key reporting activities. You will be involved in month-end close, consolidation, and coordination with external auditors within a multinational framework.

The role emphasizes strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to operate across Finance and non-Finance teams while updating accounting policies for evolving standards.

Competenze

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ability to interpret and apply standards.
• Experience preparing accounting memos, position papers, or audit support documentation.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, trial balance review, and consolidation entries.
• Experience coordinating with external auditors and supporting year-end processes.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Tax, FP&A, and business teams.

Mansioni

• Review contracts for accounting implications, focusing on IFRS 15 revenue and IFRS 16 lease accounting.
• Research IFRS guidance and prepare technical accounting memos and position papers.
• Support month-end close and prepare consolidation entries, including intercompany eliminations.
• Coordinate with external auditors during year-end and statutory audits.
• Maintain accounting policies and develop training materials for stakeholders.
