Jobgether seeks a Senior Accountant - Technical Accounting based in Italy. You will own IFRS research, prepare accounting memos, and support month-end close, consolidation, and audits to ensure compliant conclusions.

You will collaborate across Finance, Legal, Tax, FP&A, and business teams to assess complex transactions, update policies, and train stakeholders in accounting requirements, fostering consistent practices across the group.

Competenze

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ability to research, interpret, and apply standards.
• Experience preparing accounting memos, position papers, or audit support docs.
• Hands-on with month-end close, trial balance review, and consolidation entries.
• Experience assessing contracts for revenue and lease accounting implications.
• Experience working with external auditors is valuable but not required.

Mansioni

• Review contracts to determine accounting implications under IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
• Research IFRS guidance and prepare memos and position papers.
• Support month-end close through balance reviews and account analyses.
• Prepare and review consolidation entries and intercompany eliminations.
• Coordinate with external auditors during year-end processes.
• Prepare audit support materials and respond to auditor questions.
• Work with Finance, Legal, Tax, FP&A and business teams on transactions.
• Support technical accounting and broader finance projects as required.
• Update accounting policies in line with evolving standards.
• Develop training and guidance materials for stakeholders.
• Contribute to consistent, well-documented accounting practices.
