Job summary

Carel Industries s.p.a. is seeking a Service Engineer to join the After Sales & Services Department at CAREL HQs in Brugine (Padova). The role focuses on second-level trouble tickets and providing technical advice to customers, with collaboration to R&D and Quality.

The engineer will support field operations, plan external interventions, and ensure training for the team to maintain high product knowledge and service quality.

Responsibilities

• Performs the activities as Technical Engineer for the most complex and important technical support interventions following the case in field or remotely
• In alignment with Field Operation dept., prioritizes, plans trough external assistance interventions of the following types: commissioning, extraordinary maintenance, reports and tests on possible product issues; approves field reports to be paid
• Ensures its team has the appropriated level of knowledge on products, applications and methods for intervention; maps gaps and coordinates trainings with Platforms and Knowledge Centre
• Supports local Subsidiaries and Knowledge Centre in mapping knowledge gaps of Services staff and provides training to enable local staff autonomy
• Takes care of internal tests to check HVAC procedures (Chiller, Rooftop, AHU, VRF) and understands frigo circuit principles like defrosting, cycle inversion, oil return, preheating
• Analyzes data from After Sales process-monitoring tools (ticketing system) to provide summarized information to Quality, Platforms and Sales about product behavior during commissioning or after sales
• Proposes improvements in methods and tools of After Sales interventions across the Group
