Centre People Appointments is seeking a Senior HR Advisor in Milan to act as the local HR expert within the EMEA team. You will handle employee relations, HR administration, payroll, benefits, and compliance with Italian law, serving as a bridge between staff, managers, and regional HR colleagues.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HR operations, strong Italian employment law knowledge, and experience in multinational settings.

• Degree in HR or related field is required.
• 5+ years in HR generalist or HR operations roles.
• Strong knowledge of Italian employment law and HR compliance.
• Experience with payroll and benefits administration.
• Experience in a multinational environment is advantageous.
• Fluent English and Italian communication skills.

International Fashion Brand / HR Operations / Milan -

A global Japanese fashion brand is currently recruiting a Senior HR Advisor to join its EMEA HR team in Milan.

The Senior HR Advisor will act as the local HR subject matter expert, supporting employee relations, HR administration, payroll, benefits, and compliance with local employment legislation. The role will serve as a key link between employees, managers, external partners, and regional HR teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong HR operations experience, deep knowledge of Italian employment law, and the ability to support a fast-paced international environment.

Main Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate

• Degree in HR or related field; professional HR qualification preferred
• 5+ years' experience in HR generalist or HR operations roles
• Strong knowledge of Italian employment law, labour regulations, and HR compliance
• Experience supporting payroll and benefits administration
• Experience working in a multinational environment preferred
• Experience in retail, fashion, apparel, footwear, or cosmetics industries is advantageous
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Fluent English and Italian communication skills

Conditions

Working Style: Hybrid (50%)

Salary: €60,000 per annum depending on experience + 10% bonus

Job Type: permanent, full-time

Working Hours: TBC
