OHB Italia in Rome seeks a Ground Operations Manager for the Satellites & Missions unit to oversee the ground segment and ensure reliable data flow between spacecraft and mission control, including LEOP involvement.

You will lead Ground Operations Engineers, coordinate with ground stations, validate software updates, manage configuration of ground systems, and uphold TT&C integrity across the IRIDE mission network.

Competenze

• MSc in Aerospace or Space-related field required.
• 5+ years in ground operations with LEOP experience.
• Network and system administration experience.
• Knowledge of mission planning and flight dynamics systems.
• Strong TT&C, ground networks and mission control infrastructure knowledge.
• Familiarity with ground segment monitoring and telemetry handling.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams under time-critical conditions.
• Advanced English and strong communication skills.

Mansioni

• Oversee ground network availability, configuration, and scheduling.
• Coordinate with ground stations and network service providers for link availability.
• Supervise the Ground Operations Engineers (GOEs).
• Ensure data integrity across telemetry, tracking and command (TT&C) systems.
• Validate ground segment software updates and system maintenance activities.
• Manage configuration control of ground system elements (servers, interfaces, databases).
• Report on network performance metrics and outages.
