AbbVie in Italy is seeking a Medical Advisor in Gastroenterology to shape medical strategy and collaborate with key stakeholders, reporting to the Medical Lead. You will drive medical activities to support brand strategy and ensure scientifically sound plans for the Italian market.

The role requires strong medical expertise, cross-functional leadership, and fluency in English. A multi-product medical plan and external expert relationships are core components of the position.

Competenze

• Medical degree strongly preferred, or Italian equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ working experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnological industry, in a scientific/medical role.
• Fluency in written and oral English.
• Ability to transform strategies into feasible and realistic actions.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate cross functional teams.

Mansioni

• Warrant medical know-how of the Affiliate regarding relevant therapeutic areas for assigned products and provide internal medical training when requested.
• Drive Medical activities to support Brand Strategy and integrate into Brand Plan.
• Represent the Italian Affiliate in the relevant therapeutic Corporate Medical Development setting.
• Prepare the medical plan of activities for each product annually and update as appropriate.
• Maintain relationships with Key thought Leaders and External Experts.
• Review promotional material before approval of Head Scientific Service and ensure medical content accuracy.
