Moncler is seeking a Senior Fabric Research Developer in Milan to drive development and sourcing of fabrics, embroideries, and trims, ensuring alignment with the creative vision, quality standards, and collection timelines.

You will lead seasonal mood boards, maintain core fabric lines, and collaborate with global fabric mills and design teams to deliver innovative materials that meet brand standards and production schedules.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of experience in fashion or textile roles.
• Experience collaborating with international design teams in HQ environments.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of global fabric mills and sourcing practices.
• Creative research abilities with a keen eye for trends, materials, and innovation.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Fluency in English (C2); additional languages are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Partner with Design to identify, propose, and develop fabrics, trims, and embroideries.
• Drive sourcing of fabrics and components aligned with seasonal objectives.
• Lead seasonal color and fabric mood boards for collection direction.
• Oversee core fabric lines and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Coordinate with Production Development to align development with calendars and timelines.
• Ensure brand aesthetics, collection vision, and technical requirements throughout development.
• Evaluate cost, quality, and performance to meet business and creative goals.
