Moncler Group in Milan, Italy, is seeking a Senior Fabric Research Developer to lead fabric, embroidery, and trim development within the Fabrics R&D team. This senior expert will drive sourcing, color directions, and material strategy to meet creative and timing goals for multiple collections.

The role requires 8+ years in fashion/textile contexts, strong collaboration with HQ design teams, and exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in fashion or textile roles.
• Proven collaboration with international design teams in HQ environments.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of global fabric mills and sourcing practices.
• Creative research abilities with a keen eye for trends and materials.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Fluency in English (C2); additional languages are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Design to identify, propose, and develop fabrics, trims, and embroideries.
• Drive sourcing of fabrics and components aligned with seasonal objectives.
• Lead creation and evolution of seasonal color and fabric mood boards.
• Oversee maintenance and evolution of core fabric lines for innovation.
• Coordinate with Production Development to align with seasonal calendars.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to improve efficiency across development.
• Ensure consistency with brand aesthetics and technical requirements.
• Oversee cost, quality, and performance evaluations.
