Job summary

Moncler Group in Milan seeks a Senior Fabric Research Developer to drive development and sourcing of fabrics, embroideries, and trims in support of creative vision and collection timelines.

You will lead seasonal mood boards, coordinate with Production Development, and ensure fabric line cost, quality and performance align with brand aesthetics and calendar milestones. Fluent English required; international collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in fashion/textile roles (experience in HQ environments)
• Experience collaborating with international design teams
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Extensive knowledge of global fabric mills and sourcing practices
• Creative research abilities and trend sensitivity
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• Fluency in English (C2); additional languages a plus

Responsibilities

• Drive development and sourcing of fabrics, embroideries and trims to support creative vision and timelines
• Lead creation and evolution of seasonal color and fabric mood boards
• Coordinate with Production Development to align with calendars and ensure timely delivery
• Oversee fabric lines for cost, quality and performance
• Ensure brand aesthetics and technical requirements across development stages
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve efficiency and innovation
