Job summary

Raven seeks a highly skilled engineer to develop and operate low-latency exchange integrations and real-time trading components. You will ensure reliable session lifecycles, accurate balances, and fast quote-to-wire paths across multiple venues.

You will work with Rust or modern C++, apply distributed-systems principles, and communicate effectively in English across offices. A background in high-frequency trading environments is appreciated, though no degree is required.

Qualifications

• Built and operated low-latency systems with third-party services.
• Proficient in Rust or modern C++ for high-performance code.
• Experience with distributed systems and idempotent design.
• Strong Linux networking knowledge and TLS basics.
• Ability to measure performance and optimize safely under pressure.
• Fluent English; effective across multiple offices.
• HFT pedigree welcome; no degree required; evidence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate low-latency integrations with exchange providers.
• Maintain and optimize quoting and order routing paths.
• Ensure reliability, session lifecycle and reconciliation across systems.
• Monitor, alert, and respond to anomalies in the trading stack.
• Collaborate with teams across offices in English.
