UKA Group in Italy is seeking a highly organized Senior Environmental Specialist (m/f/d) to support wind, PV and battery storage projects from our Rome office. The role focuses on environmental analyses, EIA work, and due diligences across development stages.

You will work with technical teams, manage environmental permitting, and engage with stakeholders and authorities. Fluency in Italian and English, plus MS Office, QGIS and ArcGIS, and willingness to travel are required.

Competenze

• MSc or equivalent degree in an environmental discipline (e.g. Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Geology).
• At least five years of professional experience in environmental impact approval for onshore wind farms and PV plants.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, QGIS, ArcGIS.
• Fluent Italian and English (C1).
• Willingness to travel.

Mansioni

• Perform environmental analyses for wind and solar PV projects, including agrivoltaics, during pre-feasibility or advanced development stages.
• Prepare, supervise and review EIA reports, feasibility studies, landscape reports, appropriate assessments and acoustic studies.
• Carry out environmental due diligences for potential project acquisitions.
• Collaborate with technical departments and subcontractors to ensure environmental requirements are met.
• Conduct site visits to identify environmental issues and mitigate during development.
• Support permitting procedures and monitor regulatory developments affecting environmental aspects.
• Participate in stakeholder engagement campaigns, public hearings, and meetings with authorities.
