Alpitronic in Italy is seeking a Senior Embedded Firmware Developer to design, develop and maintain embedded firmware for MCU-based sensing and control in e-mobility solutions. You will define firmware architectures and ensure robust hardware-software integration.

Responsibilities include developing low-level drivers for MCU peripherals (CAN, I2C, SPI), contributing to safety-related architectures, testing, and documenting design decisions.

• Develop low-level drivers for MCU peripherals (CAN, I2C, SPI) and boards

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for microcontroller-based applications, primarily in C
• Define firmware architectures and support board commissioning for new hardware
• Develop, integrate, and maintain system and application software
• Ensure robust hardware-software integration across development lifecycle
• Perform software testing, debugging, and validation in target and test environments
• Contribute to functional safety activities and create design documentation
• Troubleshoot field issues and perform root-cause analyses
• Collaborate with developers and project managers for project execution
