AVL Italia S.p.A in Italy is seeking an Electrical Systems Design Engineer to develop electrical design solutions for complex industrial systems, from proposal through delivery, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

You will collaborate with sales, prepare technical docs, design schematics, perform PL calculations, manage BOMs, and coordinate with other disciplines, with occasional travel in Europe.

Competenze

• Degree in electrical engineering, electronics or automation.
• 3–4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of European Directives and standards (Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC; EN ISO 13849-1; EN ISO 60204-1; EN ISO 12100).
• Proficiency with EPLAN Electric P8 and SISTEMA for PL calculations.
• Good command of English (B1) and basic MS Office knowledge.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with sales and proposal teams to identify suitable technical solutions.
• Analyze customer specifications and develop project-aligned solutions.
• Estimate material costs and required labor resources.
• Prepare technical documentation and BOMs for design and manufacturing.
• Design electrical schematics including process and safety circuits.
• Perform PL calculations for safety-related systems.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and manage interfaces.
• Prepare tender and final project documentation.
• Promote reuse of existing solutions and best practices.
