Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking an Electrical Site Manager for a major hyperscale data centre project in Milan, Italy. You will oversee MV/LV containment installation and cable pulling, directing multi-national site teams to keep the programme on track while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong MV/LV expertise, relevant electrical qualifications, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Electrical Site Manager on Data Centre or similar mission-critical projects.
• Strong MV/LV containment and cable pulling knowledge.
• Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 / HND / Degree) or equivalent.
• Valid safety certifications (SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, First Aid) or European equivalents.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Italian language skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations focusing on MV/LV containment installation and MV/LV cable pulling.
• Manage site labour, subcontractors, and specialist trades to meet milestones.
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards and client specifications.
• Review drawings and method statements for accurate installation.
• Conduct site walk-throughs and sign-off on completed work packages.
