Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking an Electrical QA/QC Manager to lead on-site quality control for a major data centre project in Milan, Italy. You will own the site Quality Management System (QMS) and coordinate with engineering, installation teams and the client.

Responsibilities include managing MV/LV containment installations, cable pulling, ITPs, QCPs and non-conformance actions, plus signing off insulation tests and cable pulls. English fluency is essential; Italian would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Quality Manager or Senior QA/QC on Data Centre or complex industrial builds.
• Specialist in MV and LV containment, cable installation and testing.
• Engineering qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Quality management certification (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or CQI) desirable.
• Knowledge of European electrical standards and wiring regulations.
• English fluency; Italian language skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage the on-site Quality Management System (QMS).
• Develop and monitor ITPs, QCPs and Method Statements.
• Conduct site quality audits, log NCRs, and drive corrective actions.
• Witness and sign off on insulation tests, continuity checks and cable pulls.
• Collate and maintain all quality documentation and certification for handover.
• Interface with client QA/QC reps, third-party inspectors and project leadership.
