Job summary

Jacobs Italy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design and execution of power, lighting, earthing, life safety, and ICT systems within pharmaceutical, industrial, and building projects. You will coordinate locally and with Jacobs offices, ensure compliance with local and international codes, and oversee schedules and cost estimates.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, 10+ years EPC/EPCM experience, familiarity with Etap, SKM, Neplan, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in specifications, engineering, design, construction and start-up with EPC/EPCM firms.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical, Industrial and Buildings sectors is an asset.
• Experience in high, medium and low voltage design and equipment is an asset.
• Lead Engineer on medium projects or Area Lead on large projects with technical leadership and cross-office collaboration.
• Knowledge of local and international technical codes.
• Familiar with Etap, SKM, Neplan and related electrical software.
• Willingness to travel for business trips.

Responsibilities

• Power and lighting electrical systems design, including earthing and lightning.
• Life safety and security systems design.
• ICT systems design and project coordination with Jacobs offices.
• Ensure consistency and integrity of electrical design across projects.
• Develop work share scope and manage schedules, hours and costs.
• Pre-commissioning and start-up activities for electrical systems.
