Job summary

Stealth Startup AI infrastructure in Milan, Italy seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to own end-to-end electrical design across the product family. You will drive architecture, select technologies, and perform detailed design from concept through prototype, testing, and production readiness, collaborating with mechanical and thermal teams to ensure robust integration.

You will shape the electrical foundation across the Pod, Module, and Shell products, enabling scalable, efficient and safe

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years hands-on electrical system design experience including prototype, commissioning or production.
• Strong experience in LV and MV power distribution design up to 35 kV.
• Proficiency with electrical design tools: EPLAN Electric P8, AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent.
• Experience with protection coordination, load flow analysis and fault-level calculations.
• Knowledge of IEC 60364, IEC 61439, EN 50600 or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial, energy or infrastructure power systems.
• Ability to work from system architecture to detailed design with high ownership.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical system design end-to-end for modular infrastructure products.
• Develop single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, cable schedules, protection coordination and panel layouts.
• Size and specify LV/MV distribution systems, protection devices, switchgear and cabling for industrial and outdoor environments.
• Design interfaces with battery energy storage systems and site-level power infrastructure including metering and phase balancing.
• Define and drive electrical testing and commissioning procedures from prototype to production release.
• Collaborate with mechanical and thermal engineers to fit electricals within enclosure constraints.
• Work with suppliers/partners to specify, procure and qualify electrical components.
• Maintain electrical design documentation and revision control.
• Participate in design reviews and cross-functional problem-solving across hardware, thermal and electrical domains.
• Research and co-develop new electrical solutions with partners.
