Job summary

AECOM in Milan is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Buildings + Places team. You will lead electrical building services design, guide multidisciplinary teams and ensure delivery from concept to construction, across commercial, residential and healthcare projects.

Ideal candidates have a Master's or Bachelor's in Electrical or Industrial Engineering, 5+ years of consultancy experience, fluency in Italian and English, and proficiency in AutoCAD with BIM familiarity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical building services engineering, preferably in consultancy.
Fluent in Italian and English.
Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and building electrical systems.
Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit/BIM workflows advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services systems from concept to construction.
Prepare and review calculations, reports, specifications and design documentation.
Coordinate power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage installations.
Collaborate with other disciplines for successful project delivery.
Manage deliverables, schedules and priorities with high technical standards.
Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
Participate in client meetings, workshops and project reviews.
Support bids, tenders and technical proposals.
Ensure compliance with codes, regulations and sustainability standards.
