Job summary

Planetek Italia, Bari-based leader in geoinformatics, seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design and operate robust DevOps and security-focused platforms. You will partner with developers and system engineers to deliver reliable, maintainable solutions across on-prem and cloud infrastructure.

You will implement CI/CD, manage GitLab/Azure DevOps, and apply GitOps with Argo CD, while ensuring security controls and observability across the delivery pipeline.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE or similar roles.
• Senior position requiring autonomous work and accountability for reliable solutions.
• Solid foundations in DevOps and infrastructure engineering; comfortable with multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and improve CI/CD pipelines across the software lifecycle.
• Manage GitLab and Azure DevOps environments, repos, pipelines and runners.
• Operate and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and containerised workloads.
• Implement GitOps-based CD using Argo CD.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD with SAST, DAST and dependency scanning.
• Configure code quality and security tooling in CI/CD (e.g., SonarQube).
• Manage secrets with Vault and use IaC tools like Terraform/Ansible.
• Maintain on-premises Linux servers, VMs, networks and storage.
• Monitor with Prometheus and Grafana; ensure health and reliability.
