MongoDB is seeking a Senior Consulting Engineer for its Professional Services, based remotely in Rome. The role involves solving technically sophisticated problems, gaining cross‑stack experience, and collaborating with top professionals, with travel to customer sites up to 15%.

Fluency in Italian and English is required. You will contribute to customer implementations across the full application lifecycle, deliver classroom training, and work with delivery teams to drive customer success.

Competenze

• 10+ years of software development/consulting experience in multiple industries.
• Proficient in at least one listed language: Java, C#, Python, Node.js, Ruby, or Go.
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL.

Mansioni

• Contribute to customer implementations across the application lifecycle: portfolio assessment, planning, deployment architectures, development, integration, testing, production operations, optimization, and best practices adoption.
• Deliver customer classroom-based training to architect, developer, and operations roles.
• Work as part of a wider delivery team comprising consulting engineers, project managers, and account teams.
• Cultivate MongoDB reputation as a trusted advisor to guide MongoDB and customers into the future.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to influence the MongoDB product roadmap.
