LJB & Co is seeking two experienced Quantity Surveyors for a major hyperscale data centre project in Milan. The roles involve cost control, subcontractor management, and client engagement across M&E and civil/structural packages, with a focus on delivering turnkey, cost-efficient outcomes.

The successful candidates will bring 7+ years' experience in commercial surveying, strong procurement and contract administration skills, and the ability to produce timely commercial reporting.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying.
• 7+ years' experience in commercial/quantity surveying roles within M&E or civil/structural contracting.
• Experience with subcontractor procurement, package management and claims resolution.
• Strong understanding of commercial procedures, valuations, and contract administration.
• Excellent organisation, communication and time management skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and mentoring experience.

Mansioni

• Develop subcontract tender packages, analyze bids, and present options to senior management.
• Negotiate with subcontractors, conduct pre-let meetings, and issue subcontract orders.
• Manage multiple subcontract packages from order through final account, including remeasurement and claims management.
• Maintain and submit monthly cost reports with site teams.
• Attend stakeholder meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Prepare and submit valuations, ensuring certification and tracking for invoicing.
• Measure work packages from drawings and apply rates to develop pricing.
