Baker Hughes is seeking an Engineering Specialist - Customer Application Engineering in Italy to lead the technical portion of LTSA proposals, managing complex scopes and customer-facing deliverables. You will coordinate with commercial, sales, and engineering teams to ensure competitive, risk-balanced proposals.

The role requires 5–10 years of relevant experience, a technical degree, and readiness to travel on short notice.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university.
5–10 years of relevant industry experience in roles such as Project Engineer, Design Engineer, Application Engineer, Project Manager, or similar technical/commercial positions.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Willing to travel on short notice.

Mansioni

Interpreting customer technical requirements.
Defining and challenging the service Scope of Work.
Validating assumptions for existing and new technologies.
Ensuring cost accuracy, and identifying and mitigating technical and contractual risks.
Partnering with commercial, sales, engineering, and regional teams to optimize proposal competitiveness and will actively support customer negotiations on technical, operational, and risk-related topics.
Acting as a technical partner for the regional commercial team, contributing to deal strategy, driving alignment across functions, and supporting the development of competitive, risk-balanced, and customer-focused proposals.
