Job summary

Ford in Rome, Italy seeks an experienced Credit Risk Manager to lead the underwriting and risk analysis of Retail and Corporate portfolios. You will evaluate creditworthiness, manage IFRS 9 impairment and regulatory reporting, and report risk exposures to senior management.

The ideal candidate has several years in Credit Risk, proven team leadership, and a strong command of English. Deep knowledge of PD, LGD, and EAD modelling and policy development is required to balance growth with risk.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in Credit Risk, with IFRS 9 impairment framework expertise.
• Proven experience leading teams in risk management.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret PD, LGD and EAD models.

Responsibilities

• Credit underwriting for Retail and Corporate portfolios ensuring alignment with risk appetite.
• Oversee IFRS 9 staging and impairment processes.
• Regulatory reporting on asset quality and NPE ratios for authorities.
• Prepare regular risk reports for top management on risk exposure and reserve adequacy.
• Monitor portfolio performance to identify early signs of deterioration.
• Contribute to policy development and scoring model refinement.
