EFESO Italy in Milano seeks senior consulting professionals with a strong track record in Operations Excellence, Supply Chain, and Business Transformation. You will lead complex projects, manage teams, and engage with senior client stakeholders to deliver measurable results.

You bring 7–15+ years in management consulting or industrial leadership, with MBA or related degree, and strong analytical, storytelling, and business development skills. English proficiency is expected.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Management, Economics, or related field.
• 7–15+ years in management consulting or operational leadership roles in industry.

• We are looking for senior consulting professionals with a strong track record in Operations Excellence, Supply Chain, Industrial performance improvement, Business Transformation, and/or Industry-specific expertise. Ideal candidates bring 7–15+ years of experience in management consulting or in operations leadership roles within industrial companies. You have a proven ability to lead complex projects, manage teams, interact effectively with senior client stakeholders and contribute to business development. We look for professionals able to combine thought leadership, structured problem solving, and entrepreneurial drive, eager to shape the growth of EFESO Italy. This role is ideal for candidates who want to take an active part in client leadership, practice development, and company growth, contributing to EFESO’s mission: accelerating industrial performance worldwide.

What we expect you to do

• In line with the expectations for Manager, Senior Manager, Senior Expert, Expert Director, and Principal roles, your responsibilities will include:
  Client & Project Leadership
  Lead medium-to-large projects or multiple workstreams ensuring on-time, on-budget and high-quality delivery.
  Manage and develop high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, coaching and professional growth.
  Build strong relationships with client stakeholders at operational and leadership level.
  Translate analytical insights into strategic recommendations and actionable roadmaps.
  Thought Leadership & Expertise
  Act as a subject matter expert in one or more domains (Lean/TPM/OpEx, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Digital Operations, S&OP, etc.).
  Develop innovative methodologies, frameworks, and tools within your area of expertise.
  Contribute to publications, white papers, conferences, internal knowledge sharing initiatives.
  Business Development
  Detect, shape and drive sales opportunities with existing and new clients.
  Support or lead proposal preparation, including scoping, pricing and solution design.
  Contribute to EFESO’s market visibility via thought leadership and networking initiatives.
  Firm Building & Culture
  Actively support recruiting, onboarding and development of colleagues.
  Contribute to the EFESO One-Firm culture, leadership initiatives, internal capability building, and practice development.

Something more about you

• Master’s degree in:
  Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Management, Chemical, etc.)
  Business Administration, Economics
  Supply Chain or Operations-related disciplines
  MBA or postgraduate specialization is a strong plus.

Experience

• Minimum 7–15+ years of experience in:
  Management consulting, or
  Operational leadership roles in industrial companies
  Proven track record in:
  Leading full projects and teams
  Managing client relationships at senior level
  Delivering measurable value
  Driving business development (from supporting to leading, depending on seniority level)
  Expertise in at least one EFESO capability (Operations Excellence, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Digital Transformation, etc.).

Basic skills

• Advanced knowledge of Operations Excellence, Lean/TPM methodologies, industrial and supply‑chain processes.
  Strong problem solving: structured, hypothesis-driven, “80/20” mindset.
  Solid analytical capabilities, including financial modeling and performance analysis.
  Strong facilitation and workshop management skills.
  Ability to lead discussions with senior stakeholders and steer decision‑making.

IT skills

• Excellent command of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  Proficiency with analytics tools: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik (plus).
  Knowledge of Python, SQL, Minitab, or simulation tools is a plus.
  Familiarity with digital/Industry 4.0 solutions is an additional asset.

Certifications

• English proficiency (C1 or above — IELTS >7.0 or equivalent).
  Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification appreciated.
  PMP or similar project management certifications considered a plus.
  Additional languages are a plus.
