Neo4j is seeking a Senior Consulting Engineer to lead and execute complex client engagements, delivering architected solutions and hands-on implementation across multiple technologies.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and stay ahead of industry trends to drive value for clients.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Consulting Engineer or in a similar role, with successful project delivery.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, cloud, and infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to convey complex concepts.
• Hands-on experience with implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting in client environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking about technical solutions.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Job Description

As a Senior Consulting Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and executing complex consulting projects for our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, design innovative solutions, and provide technical expertise across a range of technologies.

• Lead and manage consulting projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, technical requirements, and challenges.
• Conduct in-depth technical assessments and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Design and architect innovative solutions to address client needs, utilizing a range of technologies and platforms.
• Provide hands‑on implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting support for client projects.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior consulting engineers within the team.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer success, to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to provide proactive recommendations to clients.
• Develop and deliver technical training sessions and workshops for clients.Create and maintain technical documentation, including project plans, architecture diagrams, and implementation guides.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
• Proven experience as a Consulting Engineer or in a similar role, with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong understanding of a variety of technologies, including networking, security, cloud, and infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Hands‑on experience with implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting in client environments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to think strategically about technical solutions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
