ERM is seeking a motivated Senior Consultant in Environmental Health and Safety to join our growing team in Milan with flexible working arrangements.

Based in Milan, you will support EHS across construction projects, assess risks, advise on regulations, and help clients implement safe practices and training programs while promoting a strong safety culture. Regular travel to Italy and abroad is expected.

Competenze

• Experience as an H&S expert with knowledge of regulations and standards.
• 3-4 years of experience in construction safety.
• Experience auditing and safety inspections; training delivery.
• Proficiency in Italian and English.

ERM is seeking a motivated Senior Consultant in Environmental Health and Safety and with a passion for sustainability to join our growing team.

The role will be based in Milan but we offer flexible working arrangements.

ERM has strong network of EHS experts who comes together globally to innovate our service offering for clients on regular basis through our internal technical community.

Our clients operate in sectors with complex regulatory environments and the global nature also sees them having challenging issues around EHS and relevant performance management requirements. Our team works with clients in energy, technology, mining companies, through to multi-national corporate companies to whom we deliver a range of services including EHS strategy, designing and implementing EHS management systems, compliance management support and delivering audit programmes; and cover the breadth of environmental through to health and safety disciplines.

Role Responsibilities:

• Support in managing EHS aspects across all phases of a construction site project, from design and procurement through execution and commissioning.
• Identifying risks, conducting risk assessments and supporting the development of preventive measures to minimize accidents and environmental impacts.
• Advice and support for our clients in the implementation of standards and legal regulations in the area of occupational safety and health protection.
• Regularly review and update security policies and procedures to ensure they comply with current best practices and legal requirements.
• Planning, implementation and evaluation of training and workshops in the areas of occupational safety and health protection for our customers.
• On-site diagnostics to assess the current safety culture and develop tailor-made solutions to build a strong safety culture in our customer companies.
• Travel regularly to our client, both in Italy and abroad.

About you:

• Completed studies or comparable training with a focus on environmental protection, occupational safety, health or sustainability.
• Proven experience as an H&S expert with in-depth knowledge of legal regulations and industry standards in the areas of occupational safety and environmental protection.
• Experience in construction safety, preferably within industrial, infrastructures, energy, or large capital projects.
• Experience in auditing and performing safety inspections and reviewing safety documentation.
• Experience and/or strong interest in conducting training and workshops as well as implementing safe-culture in companies.
• Analytical thinking and the ability to identify complex problems and develop effective solutions.
• Team player with a passion for environmental protection and sustainable business development
• Excellent written and spoken Italian and English skills.
• 3-4 years of experience.

T he recommended recruiting range for this role is €35,000 - €42,000.
