ERM is seeking a motivated Consultant to join our Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change team in Milan. You will support clients across corporate and financial sectors in addressing sustainability challenges and advancing their transition to a low‑carbon economy.

In this role you will work in an international environment on projects with a strong technical focus, including GHG accounting, LCA studies, ISO standards, and decarbonization pathways. Fluent Italian and English are required.

Competenze

• Relevant degree (e.g. sustainability, environmental engineering, climate science)
• Experience in sustainability consulting, ESG, or climate-related roles
• Knowledge of GHG Protocol, SBTi, LCA methodologies, and ISO standards
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Fluent in Italian and English

ERM is seeking a motivated Consultant to join our Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change (CSCC) team in Milan. You will support clients across corporate and financial sectors in addressing sustainability challenges and advancing their transition to a low‑carbon economy.

Your Role

Working in an international environment, you will contribute to a range of projects with a strong technical focus, including:

• GHG accounting and carbon footprinting (Scope 1, 2, and 3)
• Science‑Based Targets (SBTi) development and decarbonization pathways
• Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies
• Implementation of ISO standards (e.g. ISO 14064, ISO 14067)
• ​Sustainability strategy and performance improvement

Key responsibilities

• Analyze GHG data and perform emissions calculations
• Support GHG inventory development and target setting
• Conduct LCA assessments and interpret results
• Assist clients with ISO certification processes
• Prepare high‑quality reports and client presentations

About You

The recommended recruiting range for this role is €32,000 - €39,000.
