Insight is seeking a Senior Data Consultant to design, implement and optimize Modern Data Platforms on Microsoft Azure for enterprise clients. You will translate business requirements into scalable, secure data solutions and act as a trusted advisor bridging IT and business teams.

Key activities include end-to-end data modernization, governance, and advanced analytics use cases. The role involves presales support, PoCs, and mentoring, with a competitive gross salary and bonus, plus a company car

Competenze

• Senior Data Consultant with 6–10+ years in Data & Analytics.
• Experience in designing Azure-based data architectures for enterprise clients.
• Proven track record in data modernization, governance and security.
• Background in consulting or SI environments with presales exposure.
• Certifications in Microsoft Data platforms preferred (Databricks, Fabric DP).

The Senior Data Consultant - Azure Data Platform is a senior, client-facing professional responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of Modern Data Platforms on Microsoft Azure, supporting organizations in their data-driven transformation journey.

Acting as a trusted advisor between IT and Business, this role translates business requirements into scalable, secure, and governed data solutions. The consultant operates in complex enterprise environments, contributing to both delivery and presales activities, including assessments, roadmap definition, and solution shaping.

The role enables:

• End-to-end Data Modernization initiatives
• Strong data quality, security, and governance
• Advanced analytics & AI use cases

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Azure-based data architectures
• Design and implement Modern Data Platforms (Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Streaming)
• Develop, optimize, and maintain reliable and high-performing data pipelines
• Collaborate with BI, AI, and Application teams on integrated solutions
• Support workshops, assessments, PoCs, and presales activities
• Mentor junior consultants and support team capability growth

The established gross salary range for this position is 50.000€ to 70.000€ + bonus+ company car/car allowance (level quadro).
